1. Attach a piece of 3/8-inch hose to the top of the supplied regulator.

2. Remove the O2 sensor from the vehicle or pump block and place the tip of the

sensor on the top of the 3/8-inch hose.

3. With the tip of the O2 sensor firmly against the top of the hose, and the Dynojet

MakeRun screen showing your O2 reading of 18 or higher (ambient air), turn on

the regulator and slightly tip the sensor to allow gas to flow.

The reading on the MakeRun screen should now quickly jump down to the

calibration level.

4. Once you take your reading, turn the regulator off and remove the O2 sensor from

the hose.

The Test Gas procedure is used to test your Wideband O2 sensor. The Test Gas

procedure should be performed on a new O2 sensor before its first use. Once a

baseline reading for the sensor is established, subsequent tests should read the same.

As the sensor ages, the readings will skew either leaner or richer with wear. Once the

reading skews more than .3 points, discard the sensor and replace with a new one.
